Jaryd Faint started Coastal Custom Coatings to bring a higher standard of epoxy flooring to the Sunshine Coast. Having worked across residential and commercial jobs, he saw too many floors getting rushed, rolled straight over dirty slabs and left to lift within a year.
His approach is the opposite. Every floor is ground back to open the concrete, cracks are repaired and the surface is prepared properly before a single coat goes down. It takes more effort, but it is the difference between a floor that looks good for a season and one that lasts for years.
What really sets Jaryd apart is the metallic marble finish. It is a creative, hand poured look that flows differently on every floor, and it is the kind of work he loves to do.
